TV Lift Kit

When someone is looking for a TV Lift kit, there are a number of possible products they are looking for.

A kit to one person is much different than a kit to another person. 

There are TV Lift kits that are complete units, just leaving the final installation of the unit and the TV to the user.  This is what I would call a complete TV Lift or Pop-up TV Lift.  The only qualification this has as a kit is that it's not pre-installed into a cabinet.

Other TV Lift Kits come as separate components that need to be assembled to produce a complete lifting unit.  There is some assembly required and these are meant more for 'handy' people or people who can follow directions well.  If you never read the instructions when you put something together, this might be a good indicator ;-)

And for the real DIY-ers you can get all the individual components together and build a custom TV Lift using linear actuators, guide rails, and either a remote control system or a rocker switch.

Which way is the best?  Depends what's right for you.  Some people want complete units delivered to them, set up for them and have their TVs mounted for them.  Others prefer to take part in the building of it, either simple assembly or complete design and construction.
